Praydoro

Focus as worship

How Praydoro Works

Protected work intervals guard your attention. Praydoro gives each pause a purpose: breathe, receive Scripture, and return your attention to God.

01

Choose your rhythm

Open settings and choose a focus time, Peace Break, and Long Rest from 1 to 999 minutes. The defaults are 25, 5, and 15 minutes.

02

Name one useful task

Add a specific item to Smart Tasks before starting. A clear next action reduces the effort of deciding what to do once the timer is running.

03

Focus on one thing

Start the timer and give the selected task your attention. The quiet interface keeps time visible without adding another feed or performance score.

04

Turn the break into prayer

When focus ends, breathe slowly, receive a short passage of Scripture, and pray before returning. After four sessions, take a longer rest.

Why alternate focus and rest?

Attention becomes less reliable when we try to hold it indefinitely. A defined focus period makes the commitment smaller: you are not promising to finish everything, only to protect the next block of time. The break then gives your eyes, posture, and thoughts a chance to reset.

Praydoro adds a spiritual purpose to that pause. Instead of automatically opening another app, you move through a short breathing exercise and a Bible passage. The goal is not to force a particular emotion. It is to create enough quiet to notice what you are carrying and bring it honestly to God.

What happens to your information?

Your settings, tasks, mood selection, and progress are stored locally in your browser. There is no Praydoro account and no cloud database for timer history. This makes the tool simple and private, but it also means progress does not automatically move to another device and may disappear if you clear browser data.

How to build a sustainable rhythm

Start with a duration you can realistically protect. Twenty-five minutes is a useful default, but a ten-minute session may be wiser on an anxious or interrupted day. Keep the task narrow, silence unnecessary notifications, and stop when the timer ends instead of quietly extending every session.

During the break, stand up, breathe, drink water, or pray with the verse on screen. After the longer rest, decide whether the same task still deserves your attention. A healthy rhythm supports your responsibilities; it should not become another rule used to judge yourself.
